    The young conductor returns to the Auditorio Nacional in Madrid, conducting the orchestra Opus23, of which he is Principal Conductor. In this occasion he will conduct Wagner’s Sigfried Idyll and the zarzuela “Jugar con fuego” by Barbieri, concert version. The soloists will be Lola Casariego, Juan Antonio Sanabria, Alfredo García and José Antonio Carril.

    The Conductor of the Orchestra and Choir of the Comunidad de Madrid, José Ramón Encinar, will conduct next December 18, one of the Master pieces by Hector Berlioz: L´enfance du Christ. The soloists will be: Lola Casariego, Juan Antonio Sanabria, Josep Miquel Ramón and Stefano Palatchi, who will sing with the white voices choir of the JORCAM.

    The production ¡Ay, amor! opens the season of the Teatro de la Zarzuela. Based in an original idea by Herbert Wernicke, ¡Ay, amor! combines “El amor brujo” and “La vida breve” by the Spanish composer Manuel de Falla. It will be conducted by Juanjo Mena and by Guillermo García Calvo. The soloists include Lola Casariego, Gustavo Peña, Josep Miquel Ramón and Esperanza Fernández, among others.

    Next Friday 21st will take place the premier of the musical “Amadeu” under Albert Boadella’s direction. The musical is about the life of the Zarzuela composer Amadeo Vives. Lola Casariego will form part of the cast.
