    Asier Polo plays Saint- Saëns concerto in Tenerife

    The cellist Asier Polo plays the Concerto in A minor, opus 33, by Camille Saint- Saëns, at the Auditorium of Tenerife, with the Orquesta Sinfónica de Tenerife conducted by Víctor Pablo Pérez. He will perform in Tenerife on 18th March. He has just arrived from his concerts in Mexico DF; with the Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional de Mexico, conducted by his Chief Conductor, Carlos Miguel Prieto. At the Palacio de Bellas Artes, Asier Polo performed with great success “Don Quixote”, by Richard Strauss. He will return to America in April with the Orquesta Sinfónica de Puerto Rico and his Chief Conductor, Maximiano Valdés, performing Elgar concerto.

    Pedro Halffter will conduct four concerts with the Orchestre National des Pays de la Loire, in Angers and in Nantes. The program includes pieces by Massenet, Wagner and Verdi, as well as the symphonic poem Don Quijote by Richard Strauss performed by the cellist Asier Polo.

    He will conduct the Orquesta Ciudad de Granada with two great soloists: the violinist Isabelle van Keulen and the cellist Asier Polo, who will perform the Brahms’ Double Concerto. The program also includes a piece by Tomás Marco and the Brahms’ Third Symphony.
